An “e-collar” is basically a collar with a stimulation mechanism. It is similar to receiving E-Stim therapy at your local chiropractor. Remote collars act like an invisible leash and give owners the ability to communicate with their dog in a consistent manner. The way you apply pressure on a leash when walking and changing direction. We condition the e-collar in such a way that it is as if you are physically communicating with your dog with distance not being a factor. This means that if you are hiking and you notice your dog is getting too far or happens to see deer and want to chase it you have a way to communicate with them despite their utter excitement of deer or distraction of smells.
When we condition an e-collar to your dog we condition it with the word "no." When we say "No" this means to stop the current behavior and look to us to follow the cue given after whether it was because they broke a sit stay or start to pull on the leash instead of being in a heel command. Our goal is to have your dog understand that when they feel the stim of the e-collar their immediate response is to look to whoever is handing them to wait for further instruction. This is to help you communicate with your dog and not for punishment.

They stay in Jonathan's private residence during the duration of their stay. We’re located in day Break. We accept very few dogs at a time! This allows for your dog to enjoy their time in a calm, clean, and orderly home. We believe that this more natural and intimate setting is optimal for learning and minimizing the stress of a typical high-volume training facility. Comfort and safety come first!

Is there a guarantee that I will get the results I want?
We've never met a dog we could not improve. However, dog training is a team effort. No matter how severe the issues may be, dedicated and diligent owners consistently see amazing breakthroughs and transformations with Training and Home Management. The key to that system is a process of collaboration and teamwork that begins before we meet your dog and continues through the training process. Once you hire us your success is our top priority, but your dog can't achieve full potential without you, and there will be homework. Even though we can help any dog regardless of size, breed, or issue, we need owners to be 100% committed and consistent to make it work. As such, it would be unethical for us to offer a 100% guarantee due to the many variables involved to create a well-behaved and balanced dog.

Yes, we happily offer free training evaluations! These are the perfect opportunity to meet and work with your pup and his/her training needs. This will allow us to point you toward the program that’d be best suited for you and your dog.
